I Dont Care What Happens to These Characters
I gave upwardly on this book awhile agone because I disliked every single character and didn't care to find out what happened to them. I'm thinking well-nigh going back to information technology now because I don't like unfinished books. Will someone tell me if whatever likable characters show up? I'one thousand not very far in and will probably have to start over (gah), but I need someone to like in this book.
Each character is a personification of an argument that duke it out in diverse means throughout the volume.
I establish it to be one of the virtually pure insights into the human condition that I take ever read (as well Dostoyevsky'due south other books...) You might appreciate it more if you approach it in that low-cal.
It too might not be what yous're interested in which is fine likewise.
If it is the first case, I don't retrieve there is one desperately written graphic symbol in the book. If I am being nit-picky, Dimitri feels a little one dimensional to me at times, just even that observation is a big stretch.
If information technology is the 2nd case, the whole indicate of the book, in a style, is an exploration of the things that make people unlikeable or likeable, so writing a character that is on the extreme of either sides will be a waste in the context of the story. Nevertheless, to me, towards the terminate, there we a characters that I ended upwards really liking equally a person, despite their flaws. But yous demand to finish it to become to that realisation.
